Working with Raster (bitmap) Images

You can open bitmap images of different file formats.

Supported Raster Image file types

BMP - Windows Bitmap

JPG - JPEG Bitmap

PCX - Paintbrush

TGA - Targa Bitmap

CLP - Clipboard Format

PNG - Portable Network Graphics

Working sequence

1.Open a raster image using any methods (open/import image function, import from the catalog, etc).

2.Scale the image to the final size and move it to the final position.

3.If necessary, clip the image, edit the image, vectorize the image.

4.Set the image use: artwork, print, cut.

5.If the image is the background reference, digitize the design objects over it.

6.Save the design along with the reference image.

7.If the image is used as a decoration type, save it in the corresponding file format.
