Embroidery Input/Output > Production Time Estimate

This feature produces a production time estimate.

You can execute this function from the menu FILE > Information.

Misc Costing 0

The production time is based on:

•The number of pieces of the job order

•Design characteristics: stitch count, color count, trim count, length of stitches, etc.

•Machine features: heads, needles per head, speed chart, color change time, thread trim time, etc.

•Operator time: hooping time, bobbin change time, etc.

The more accurate you can specify these parameters, the more accurate the estimation is. You can use any of the pre-defined machines or you can create your own machine and set the machine parameters. Default values on the pre-defined machines are statistical values.

To get a quick initial time estimation:

➢Type the number of pieces to produce

➢Select a machine from the list.

The estimate is computed almost instantly.

You will get a time usage graph with dividers for the main events and a job summary, with run count, average speed, etc.

You can edit some basic characteristics of the machine to consider.

➢Click on the Print button (located at the bottom left corner of the window) the production time estimation report.
